Bling – Refund & Return Policy

1. Purpose

This Refund & Return Policy explains the handling of payments, cancellations, refunds, and returns for purchases made through the Bling luxury marketplace.

Because Bling facilitates the sale of unique, pre-owned luxury items, strict controls are required to protect Buyers and Sellers from fraud, misrepresentation, and value loss.

2. Authentication Responsibility

Sellers are required to list authentic and legally owned products only.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing product:

  • Images
  • Description
  • Condition details
  • Price and taxes (if applicable)
  • Negotiated commitment

Prior to confirming delivery with OTP.

Bling may moderate listings, but does not independently authenticate each item unless explicitly stated.

3. All Sales Final After OTP Confirmation

When the Delivery Personnel completes the drop-off and the Buyer provides the One-Time Password (OTP):

  • Ownership transfers to the Buyer
  • The sale becomes final and non-refundable
  • Bling is no longer responsible for quality disputes

This prevents fraudulent substitution or tampering after delivery.

4. Situations Where Refunds May Be Allowed

Refunds are limited to the following cases:

4.1 Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Seller unavailability
  • Item not provided for pickup
  • Delivery Personnel logistics failure

The order will be cancelled and payment refunded.

4.2 Unauthorized or Duplicate Payment

If a payment is processed incorrectly or duplicated due to technical error, the excess amount will be refunded after validation.

4.3 Fraud or Legal Compliance Issues

If Bling determines the item violates:

  • PDPL, consumer protection, or commercial laws
  • Intellectual property regulations
  • Anti-counterfeit controls

The order may be reversed, and the Buyer refunded while the Seller may face restrictions.

5. Payments and Refund Method

Payments are securely processed via Stripe and Apple Pay.

Refunds will be issued using:

  • The same payment method where possible, or
  • The Buyer's Bling wallet balance if required by banking constraints

This prevents fraudulent substitution or tampering after delivery.

Refund processing times depend on:

  • Payment provider processing
  • Banking institution timelines

Expected settlement: 3-10 business days

8. No Return Policy

Because items are pre-owned luxury goods with value subject to handling conditions:

  • Bling does not support returns after delivery confirmation
  • Items cannot be shipped back to the Seller once accepted

This policy protects Sellers from fraudulent usage and switching scams.
